Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards for company efficiency and effectiveness for all processes, including sales, warehouse management, project management, skill training, safety learning paths, and field services. Plan, direct, control, and forecast budgets and cost of sales to achieve financial objectives. Communicate new directives, policies, or procedures to managers for major changes with the entire operations staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain team morale. Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and hybrid project management methods from sales to close $25 million in sales and projects.

• Implemented sales and project management processes, including a new CRM, Procore, and BuilderTrend PM tools to create transparent and real-time documentation shared with company stakeholders.

• Managed multiple projects across the state of Texas for clients, including Austin Independent School District, DPS, TxDOT, Travis County, St. Edward’s University, and the University of Texas.

• Championed relationships with stakeholders, external partners, manufacturers, and vendors to improve efficiencies and enable wins for over $25 million in projects based in Texas.

2016 – 2020

Facilitated training programs, workshops, seminars, and various activities to assist employees in reaching professional goals. Developed new curriculum and content for organizational programs. Planned and executed the organization’s overall L&D strategy for leaders and employees and consistently introduced new programs to support changes in strategy. Coached team (online and in-person) on instructional design methods, including ADDIE, SAM, Bloom’s Taxonomy, and rapid prototyping to create missing or needed contract deliverables.

• Created agile project management strategies, including daily stand-ups, weekly huddles, and bi-weekly sprint meetings for eLearning, web development, and AR and VR training within Jira and Confluence.

• Developed solid curricula, learning paths, and LMS systems for state-mandated continuing education and certification within fact-to-face, eLearning, augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR) spaces.

• Coordinated with large clients (One Gas, NICET, NFPA, ADT, Vivint, Best Buy, Pop-A-Lock, Siemens, Protection) to create custom training across 22 states to allow for 205-50% faster team member certification than previous training methods.

Management Assistant to the Principal

2011 – 2016

Assisted principal in managing school and student activities, community relations, personnel, and professional development for teachers. Coordinated with board members and principal to define and enforce school policies for students, staff, and faculty. Directed bond projects across internal teams, district employees, external contracts, architects, and engineers. Spearheaded the creation of various standard operating procedures (SOPs) to meet ongoing school, faculty, and student needs.

• Pioneered curriculum creation for teachers on using Web 2.0 tools, Blogger, website creation, innovation stations, document cameras, tablets, and additional technical classroom knowledge. 

• Developed new and missing inventory processes for over $6 million in textbooks, enabling the ability to meet deadlines with minimum corrections from the district accounting office.

• Implemented strategies and logistics to lower outstanding textbook fines from $115k to less than $5k and improved check-out time from 2 hours to less than 20 minutes.

Spanish Teacher

2008 – 2011

Led and taught oral and written Spanish 2 & 3 Pre AP with tailored lesson plans to individual students and classrooms, including homework assignments, projects, quizzes, and tests. Facilitated paperless classroom through Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) for integrating technology into classrooms (Google docs, wikis, websites, and tablet applications).

• Served as team lead to improve AP passing rates for Advanced Spanish, and the creation of a paperless classroom.
